Children's Ministry

The Bible teaches that the primary responsibility of the spiritual development of children rests on their parents. The family and the home should be the fundamental environment for teaching, applying, and living out biblical truths and principles. At First Baptist Church the children’s ministries are designed to help children learn more about God, Jesus, and the Bible and reinforce and expand the biblical truths and principles taught in the home.

Sunday School - 9:30 to 10:30 AM Sunday Mornings
Classes for each grade 1st - 6th

Children’s Choirs - 5:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday Evenings (During the School Year)
Music Makers (Grade 1-3)
Champion Singers (Grade 4-6)

AWANA Club - 6:30 to 8:00 PM Wednesday Nights (During the School Year)
Sparks (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)
Chums (3rd & 4th Grade Girls)
Pals (3rd & 4th Grade Boys)
Guards (5th & 6th Grade Girls)
Pioneers (5th & 6th Grade Boys)

Summer Activities
Monday Madness 10:00 AM Monday Mornings (Completed 1st - 6th grade) 
Wacky Wednesdays 6:30 PM Wednesday Evenings (Completed 1st - 6th grade) 
Vacation Bible School (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM one week in June, K - 8th grade )
Preteen Camp (late July or early August, completed 4th - 6th Grade)
