Lead Pastor - Brian Sander
Brian grew up in Haysville and attended Wichita State University before transferring to Oklahoma Baptist University to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Bible/Ministry. Brian married his amazing wife, Sheree, and together they have 1 son, Brock.
Brian has served in vocational ministry since 1995, mainly in the areas of student ministry and associate pastor. Brian has served churches in Oklahoma, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Kansas. Brian became the Lead Pastor at First Baptist Haysville in the Fall of 2023. Brian loves spending time with family and friends, riding his Harley, good cups of coffee, and watching the Kansas Jayhawks and the KC Chiefs.
If you had to sum up your responsibilities at FBC Haysville in one sentence, what would it be?
Helping everyone KNOW Jesus, to GROW in their faith, and to GO share His love with others.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
Everyone is lopsided, we just don’t lop on the same side. Don’t take yourself too seriously.

What is one verse from the Bible by which you try to live your life?
Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. “

Gladiator or something with action and adventure.
